Whidbey Island Heart for the Arts (WICA) presents The Whidbey Telecom Summer season Nights Sequence June 27 – August 15, 2020.

The open-air sequence takes place on WICA’s patio and options favourite, native artists sharing their abilities with comfortably seated and safely distanced audiences. Alcohol, smooth drinks, and charcuterie plates can be found for buy throughout every occasion. Friends are inspired to remain for the “Artist Meet and Greet” following every efficiency.
Improv with Billy Viewers members are the inspiration for a night of comedy and creativity with Billy Tierney, musicians Chris and Keegan Harshman, and painter Fritha Strand.

Henrik Ibsen’s “A Doll’s Home” – Staged Studying As Christmas Eve approaches and purse strings tighten; the Nora and Torvald Helmer uncover that the facade of their excellent lives is starting to crack. Nora has a secret and what begins as an beautiful household drama shortly reveals itself to be a life-or-death thriller with no clear villains or technique of escape.

“A Doll’s Home, Half 2” by Lucas Hnath Fifteen years have handed between a door slam in Ibsen’s basic and a ‘knock-knock’ that begins “Half 2.” What follows are 90 deft, devastating minutes that join the previous and current and shine a lightweight on how we appear to be going backwards in our fascinated about ladies’s rights, identities, possession of our bodies, and gender roles.

Nathaniel Talbot and Keegan Harshman in Live performance Nathaniel (guitar) is joined by Keegan (bass) for an evening of acoustic tunes spanning people, indie and soul.

Only for Laughs: Harry J. Riley Harry J. Riley did not begin performing stand-up till his remaining yr within the U.S. Air Power. He gained Valleyfest’s PG Comedy Competitors 3 times and was a finalist within the prestigious Seattle Worldwide Comedy Competitors (2018). He has appeared within the film “Falling Up” and has been on SYFY’s “Z-Nation.” Harry will likely be joined by fellow comic, Mike Devore.

Aug. 15 | 7 p.m.
